The Weekend Is Here!
Written by Hannah Lyons
Hello, I’m ecstatic about today’s inspiration because we’re celebrating National Random Acts of Kindness Day! First of all, it’s the true holiday of altruism and the perfect reminder for random acts of kindness. What’s not to love? In light of the tof today, we’re inspired by a true favorite of ours and his optimistic artwork.
Inspired By: Love Wall by James Goldcrown
If you’re an avid follower, you’re probably familiar with our sweet obsession with graffiti artist James Goldcrown and his bright and beautiful ‘Bleeding Hearts’ work. In fact, Carrie used his colorful wall for a backdrop in these photos from NYC last fall. Plus, she and Maritere spotted even more work by him as they explored NYC, as evidenced here and here. No doubt, saturated with colorful hues, his darling hearts are enough to make even the glum beam a grin.
In addition, did you know Carrie and Maritere recently met James in their Super Bowl endeavors? Catch more details here. Granted, both were crazy inspired after witnessing the artist paint a signature ‘Bleeding Heart’ piece live!

Finally, remember the purpose of today’s holiday. Random or planned, take the time to act with kindness and do something nice. Big or small, it all makes a difference. In fact, that reminded me of one of Carrie’s favorite quotes she mentioned in her interview on Monday:
“Work hard, and be nice to people.”
Now, of course, we do recommend taking advantage of the weekend to catch some much needed zzz’s and enjoy some time relaxing! Finally, be sure to visit back tomorrow for Carrie’s weekend round up. From the Wear + Where + Well team to you – have a wonderful weekend!
