About House of Holland
Designer Henry Holland’s humor, wit, and charm have earned him status as a darling of British fashion. Those endearing personality traits translate directly into his fashion designs. As Henry told British Vogue, “This industry and especially design is about putting a piece of yourself into your work and, for me that is very much that British sense of humour, that tongue-in-cheek nod and a wink. House of Holland, his eponymous label, is known for its energetic, youthful feel conveyed through graphic prints and bold colors. The line has become a favorite of British celebrities like Alexa Chung and Daisy Lowe, and Poppy Delevingne. You might recall this statement coat I wore recently – very indicative of his attention-grabbing designs – and this “Jolly” cashmere sweater that I wore during the holidays, reflecting his quirky side.
When I saw this dress, I just couldn’t resist the neon colors and striped jacquard pattern. The modern colors and pattern combined with a classic feminine full midi skirt silhouette create an interesting juxtaposition. Note that it also comes in a top and skirt.
