Trending: Bell Sleeves
As you may have noticed, many trends this year are inspired by the 70s. As you may recall, our sweet and stylish college intern rocked this 70’s inspired jumpsuit this summer.
Well, now bell sleeves have made a major comeback. And we are totally enamored!
Quite simply, bell sleeves are fun! And you know we love fun fashion. Bell sleeves add volume to a look, and they can be short or long, and across all fabrics and prints. We’ve seen bell sleeves in shirts and dresses, and as you can tell, I immediately had to scoop up a bell sleeved dress!
What I’m Wearing
I was immediately drawn to this dark vermillion bell sleeve Theory dress (also here) because of the vibrant color. Furthermore, not only are their bell sleeves, but the flare hem really caught me eye.
I paired it with my new favorite scarf – this colorful striped cashmere blanket scarf (other similar ones I love here and here), my Stuart Weitzman black OTK boots (which you already know how much we love!), my favorite sunglasses (similar to these Karen Walker sunglasses), and one of my favorite red lipsticks NARS lipstick in ‘Jungle Red’.

1. I saved 🙂
2. I studied the Chanel website to know what was currently available and what I liked and wanted. I went in with a few specific ideas (with this bag being my number one choice).
When it comes to big expenses like this, I can’t make a decision on the fly in the store. That stresses me out. But if I have scoped it out online and have a plan, then it becomes fun to go in, see it in person, experience the store atmosphere, etc.
Yes, I am a planner too! Good advice, Carrie. I like the idea of studying the website first and going in with specific ideas.
