Blush for Winter

If I think back as far as I can into my childhood, I remember loving two things from my earliest days until now: (1) the color pink, and (2) strawberries. While strawberries aren’t necessarily relevant to today’s topic, the color pink certainly is! As much as I love a saturated shade of pink, the super soft and subtle blush shade of pink is really having a moment.

You might recall me sharing five tips on how to wear blush this past summer. Well, fortunately for us pink lovers, this color’s moment is extending well beyond its traditional spring and summer seasons. Pink – particularly blush – is still the cool color to wear as we head into the winter month’s.

For this look, I decided to play around with an all blush look. Style tip: A monochromatic look is a simple, easy way to create a bold yet cohesive color story.

The inspiration for this look actually started with these J Brand little pink jeans, which were designed in honor of breast cancer awareness month in October. Note that J Brand continues to donate 20% of retails sales of this jean to the young survival coalition for breast cancer.
